School
I'm already BORED to death and it's only the second week of school this year, with all the stress , homework and pressure mounting. The holidays already seem like some distant memory. I've got 2 new resolutions for this year:1.To try and survive the new year, taking it one day at a time.:) 2.To study harder and get at least 260 for my PSLE, so that I can go into either NUS high or RI, my dream secondary schools. Here's wishing everyone a great year! (P.S. For those my age, here's hoping that we survive the new year AND PSLE. Cheers everyone!

Boring Holiday
The holidays were a little bit boring. On the third last day of the short holiday, I followed my father to a strange place where we had morhinga for dinner. It tasted even stranger than its name sounds, but it still tasted kinda nice. After that, we went to MOF(Ministry Of Food) where we had some desserts-Kanten Jelly desserts and three drinks. Kanten jelly is made from the root part of a plant and is rich in fibre. It is believed to have slimming effects and is also very healthy. Natuarally, it is unsweetened and tasteless, but the Japanese pour either honey or black or white sauce over the jelly to sweeten it before consumption.

Boring
Today I went to the boring Tea Chapter thingy today. Or at least, that was my first and longest lasting impression of the place. As I edged down the steps of the bus in boredom, I stared at the strange looking place. Basically, the same monotonous stuff littered the room-two packets of tea leaves, three teapots-one wooden teapot, two porcelain tea pots, out of which one was 'coverless' and many tiny little teacups.
The minute we stepped in, we were told to take off our shoes. We were than ushered upstairs, where we, being the first group to go upstairs, had to sit at the first table. Some unfortunate groups who came after us had no table to sit at. When everybody was sitted, our 'instructor' came in and started screaming at us (yelled the rules at us).
The lesson started with a tea pouring, tea making, 'cup washing' demomstration and, of course, how to use the tea-making utensils. After he made a cup of tea, he asked if we wanted to drink it. He was shocked when nobody wanted to drink it. Finally, Rayson broke the slience by raising his hand. The series of events that happened after that is too boring for me to tell you. You people must already be yawning.

?
We may think the long weekend is a blessing, but it is actually a curse in disguise-already the teachers are taking advantage of all the holidays we have to give us extra homework, it is gonna get worse next year. While P1's-P5's have been looking forward to this few days ever since the latest holidays ended, I seriously doubt that we will have the same attitude next year as we will be P6 next year and thus we will be taking our PSLE oral on these to days! Ugh! Just the thought of it scares me! Aaahhhh!Must not let the PSLE stress get me... I Mmmuuuussssttttttt noooooottttt let the stress get meeeeeeeeee...
