Movie

I visited the cinema quite recently, on the 16th of May. No prizes for guessing what I watched that day. Being a Harry Potter enthusiastist, I was overjoyed when my father sucessfully balloted for discounted tickets to watch the second last movie starring Harry Potter and Co. One of the main highlights was that it was digitally produced. It was in this episode that Dumbledore, the Headmaster at Hogwarts is slayed. It is actually a cunning plot devised by Snape and Dumbledore in the hope that Harry Potter might save Hogwarts in the days to come and that he might help to kill Voldemort. I hope to watch 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows' as it is much eaiser to believe the storyline when you watch the movie compared to reading the book.

NE Show

Having already attended the national day parade since I was four, I was therefore no stranger to the annual parade myself. However, Singapore's 44th parade differed greatly from the past parades I had attended. We were 'attacked' by 'terrorists' in speed boats who left a 'bomb' and a 'mine'. However, the threats were quickly neutralised by the Navy and Army. There was also a ten-part story about Singapore's advance in the fields of tecnology from the day Singapore was discovered to the present. My favorite performance was the RSAF helicoptors and the red lions aka parachuters. The 'EYE' promised to switch on the 'air-con' at night, but in the end, we got more than we asked for. Just as the celebrations were ending, the weather worsened form a slight drizzle to a downpour, which then advanced to a thunder storm. The whole place was flooded. We never saw the conclusion of the show.=( To make things worse, a few of our classmates were 'lost' on the way back. Thankfully, they were only with Mrs Sia. Despite the terrible weather, the show was rather enjoyable.

Today

The waft coming from the back of the classroom was indescribable.=( As I edged over to the back, the smell was immediately recognisable- it was that of shit. Joining the crowd of curious classmates, I asked Ryan(koh) what he had brought. He proudly declarded that he had brought his shit along for his YI day project-his group was doing something concerning the act of mother nature. When Arvin came over, he was asked to close his eyes before he lifted the third bag from the first bag. When he opened his eyes, boy, was he shocked!=D
